Celebrating Black Dads

  • Random House New York, NY USA (map)

In celebration of Black stories and voices, Random House invites you to join us for a conversation on the role of fathers in shaping the future for Black children in the U.S.

How has the past influenced how Black fathers approach raising their families in 2022? How can we honor the realities and shared experiences of Black families? How can we reimagine discussions around social justice and the Black experience so we’re putting equal importance on the hard work that happens at home? And what’s bringing Black dads joy these days?

Join Shaka Senghor (Letters to the Sons of Society), Michael Phillips (Wrong Lanes Have Right Turns), and Derrick Barnes (The Queen of Kindergarten) in conversation about the joys and challenges of parenting in uncertain times.

Join us for this important discussion with some of our favorite authors on what matters most to them—and their families.
